FOUNDER OF SATHWARO GROUP
Mr. Bhavesh P. Bumtariya is the Founder & Chairman of Sathwaro Group, providing strategic direction for the Group’s development across agriculture, integrated agri-value chains, domestic markets, and international trade.
His association with agriculture began in 2004 through hands-on farming activities, providing practical exposure to crop cultivation, farmer challenges, resource utilization, productivity, and agricultural market dynamics.
In 2008, he commenced his entrepreneurial journey through agricultural and micro-irrigation activities, with a focus on improving farm productivity, water-use efficiency, and practical agricultural solutions.
Building on this experience, he subsequently developed Sathwaro Group as an integrated agricultural business platform, connecting farmers, FPOs, markets, institutions, and business partners across the agricultural value chain.
Under his strategic leadership, the Group has expanded its capabilities across cultivation, contract farming, farmer engagement, procurement, post-harvest management, value addition, domestic distribution, and export-oriented agriculture.
Mr. Bumtariya continues to lead the Group’s strategic development with a focus on integrated agricultural value chains, farmer prosperity, technology adoption, traceability, sustainable growth, institutional partnerships, and domestic and global market development.

Mr. Mukundray P. Bumtariya is the Co-Founder & Managing Director of Sathwaro Group, with extensive experience in agricultural operations, micro-irrigation, sustainable farming systems, horticulture development, farmer engagement, and agri-business management.
He began his professional journey in 2009 in the micro-irrigation sector, working closely with farmers and agricultural stakeholders to improve water-use efficiency, crop productivity, and farm-management practices. This practical field exposure provided him with a strong understanding of the operational challenges and opportunities within Indian agriculture.
As Co-Founder & Managing Director of Sathwaro Group, he plays a key role in translating the Group’s strategic vision into operational execution. His responsibilities span contract farming, crop planning, farmer and FPO engagement, procurement, supply-chain coordination, post-harvest operations, value-chain development, commercial management, and market expansion.
His leadership contributes to building scalable operating systems, strengthening farmer participation, improving supply reliability, and supporting the Group’s domestic and international market development.
With a strong focus on execution discipline, operational efficiency, farmer empowerment, and sustainable growth, Mr. Bumtariya continues to support Sathwaro Group in developing a resilient and commercially sustainable agricultural ecosystem.

My journey in agriculture began in 2009 in the micro-irrigation sector, where I worked closely with farmers and agricultural stakeholders. This experience provided firsthand understanding of water management, crop productivity, operational challenges, and the importance of practical agricultural solutions.
Over the years, these experiences have shaped our approach at Sathwaro Group — developing an integrated agricultural value chain that connects farmers with structured procurement, post-harvest management, value addition, domestic distribution, and international markets.
Today, our operational focus remains on strengthening farmer engagement, improving supply-chain efficiency, maintaining product consistency, supporting responsible value addition, and building reliable market linkages.
As Managing Director, my priority is to ensure that our strategic plans are converted into disciplined execution — from field-level coordination and procurement to supply-chain management and commercial delivery.
