The Beginning

In January 2023, the business evolved into Sathwaro Group, marking a strategic transition from agricultural inputs to an integrated agri-value-chain model connecting production, aggregation, value addition, distribution, and trade. The name “SATHWARO” reflects our philosophy of working together, while our guiding thought, “Together, We Cultivate Prosperity,” represents our commitment to creating shared, sustainable, and long-term value across the agricultural ecosystem.

Founded in October 2008 as Saurashtra Irrigation, our journey began with a commitment to supporting farmers through micro-irrigation solutions and sustainable agricultural practices. Working closely with farming communities gave us first-hand insight into the practical challenges of agricultural production, market access, post-harvest management, and value realization—insights that later shaped our transition toward an integrated agri-value-chain model.

By 2026, Sathwaro Group had expanded into an integrated agri-value-chain enterprise working across 80+ agricultural crop varieties, connecting cultivation, farmer and FPO engagement, procurement, post-harvest management, value addition, domestic distribution, and international market linkages. This phase reflects our continued focus on building structured, scalable, traceable, and market-connected agricultural value chains.
