Pearl Millet
Pearl Millet Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 4-6.5 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 20-28 oC is most favorable.
Pearl Millet crop matures in about 70-80 days and yield 1.2 to 2 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : February-March, June – July
Maize




Maize Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 5.6-7.5 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 18-27 oC is most favorable.
Maize crop matures in about 85-105 days and yield 1.2 to 1.6 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : Mid June to Mid July, October-November.




Finger Millet Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 4.5-8.2 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 11-27 oC is most favorable.
Finger Millet crop matures in about 95-115 days and yield 0.8 to 1 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
Sowing time : January-February, June-July, September-October
Rice Can be grown in a variety of soils. However, Clay, sandy and loamy soils with a pH range of 5.5-7 are suitable. Also the Soil should be well trained and well aerated. The weather temperature 21-37 oC is most favorable.
Rice crop matures in about 105-150 days and yield 2.2 to 2.9 MT per acre in moderate climate and depending on the varieties.
